Description

CTSW is a member of the peptidase C1 family, is a cysteine proteinase that may have a specific function in the mechanism or regulation of T-cell cytolytic activity. The protein is found associated with the membrane inside the endoplasmic reticulum of natural killer and cytotoxic T-cells.

Western blot analysis of CTSW antibody (C-term) in Jurkat cell line lysates (35ug/lane). CTSW (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.	CTSW Antibody (C-term) IHC analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human tonsil tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the CTSW Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Specificity

This CTSW antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 347~376 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CTSW.

Storage Condition and Buffer

Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C. Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
