Description
CDX1 is a member of the caudal-related homeobox transcription factor family. It is a DNA-binding protein that regulates intestine-specific expression and enterocyte differentiation. It has been shown to induce expression of intestinal alkaline phosphatase and inhibit beta-catenin/T-cell factor transcriptional activity (1).
