Extensively Screened and Pathologists Approved RabMAbs™
Epitomics has submitted over 150+ monoclonal antibodies to Swedish Human Protein Atlas (HPA) Program. Each antibody were tested according to HPA-standard quality assurance procedures which consists of Western blot (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) on Tissue MicroArrary (TMA). Once approved by pathologists, these antibodies were additionally IHC screened on eight TMAs representing 576 different human tissue cores.

What is Human Protein Atlas (HPA)?
Human Protein Atlas is a publically available online database design to allow "systematic exploration of the human proteome using Antibody-Based Proteomics". HPA database consists of high quality immunohistochemistry (IHC) images which shows "expression and localization of proteins in a large variety of normal human tissues and cancer cells". This collection utilizies high quality "monospecific" antibodies to obtain high resolution IHC images on various human tissues and cell lines.
HPA is solely funded by Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation and maintained by Swedish Human Proteome Resource (HPR) Center.
