Background: The Fos family consists of 4 members: FOS, FOSB, FOSL1, and FOSL2. Fra-1, known as Fos-related Antigen 1 or FOSL1, is a leucine zipper protein that can dimerize with JUN family proteins, thereby forming the transcription factor complex AP-1. As such, Fra-1 has been implicated as regulators of cell proliferation, differentiation, and transformation (1).
Specificity: A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human Fra-1 was used as an immunogen.
Storage Condition and Buffer: Store at 2-8° C. PBS (pH 7.2), 0.02% sodium azide, 0.05% BSA. Protect from light. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
Recommended Dilutions:
ICC: 1:100
