 PRODUCT SPECIFICATION - c-Jun (N-term) Rabbit Antibody
Name: c-Jun (N-term) Rabbit Antibody
PDF of Datasheet

Clone ID: E254
Antibody Type: Rabbit Monoclonal IgG
Catalog#: 1254-1
Size: 100ul
Price: $ 250

Recommended Applications: WB, IHC, ICC, IP
Species Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat

Mol. Weight: 39 kDa
UniProt ID: P05412

Alternative names: Activator protein 1, AP1, Proto-oncogene c-jun, V-jun avian sarcoma virus 17 oncogene homolog, p39

Description: c-Jun is a component of the transcription factor AP-1 (1). The transcriptional activity of c-Jun is regulated by phosphorylation at serines 63 and 73 (1,2). Extracellular signals, including growth factors, transforming oncoproteins and UV light, stimulate phosphorylation of c-Jun at Ser63/73 and activate c-Jun-dependent transcription (3,4).

Specificity: A synthetic peptide corresponding to N-terminal residues of human c-Jun was used as immunogen. Predicted to cross-react with pig, based on sequence homology.

Recommended Dilutions:
WB: 1:2,000
IHC: 1:250
ICC: 1:250
IP: 1:40
