Account Executive (Internal Sales)

Epitomics, Inc, is a biotechnology company dedicated to developing breakthrough monoclonal antibody technology for research and diagnostic applications. The Company's core technology is its unique and proprietary RabMAb®(Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody) technology which produces antibodies with superior binding affinity and bioactivity in a wide variety of biological assays. Epitomics has also developed a proprietary method for humanizing RabMAbs called Mutation Lineage Guided (MLG) humanization. Epitomics, Inc. is headquartered in Burlingame, California.

Candidate will be responsible for development and performance of all internal sales activities in assigned market. Assists in expanding customer base through proactive calling, following up incoming client inquiries, and assisting in custom and bulk quote generation.

Principle Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Identify and follow up with incoming client phone calls and emails
  • Develops bulk and custom quotes for clients
  • Follows up with clients on status of bulk and custom quotes
  • Tracks production of custom products and updates clients on status
  • Proficient in sales analysis and sales predictions
  • Managing and updating client information in ACT or other internal database
  • Trouble shooting client technical problems and seeks resolution with technical support
  • Performs duties as assigned with International distributors and OEM partners
  • Attends tradeshows and conferences as needed and follows up on leads
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • BS, MS or higher education in life science/business, Ph.D a plus
  • 2-5 yrs working with antibodies and their applications
  • Knowledge about research and diagnostic markets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of customer database management a plus
  • Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with Product Development, Marketing, and Sales teams
