Ordering and Terms of Service


For customers within USA and Canada phone orders can be placed Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM Pacific Standard Time (excluding holidays) at 650-583-6688. Orders can also be placed 7 days a week, 24 hours a day via fax (650-583-6680), email: orders@epitomics.com, or online through our web site.

International Customers : For customers outside of North America, orders can be placed directly with one of our distributors. See the list of distributors here.

Please be prepared to provide the following information when placing an order:

• Customer account number (required for accepting purchase orders, not
  required for credit card orders)(See “Payment Terms” for how to set up a
  customer account number if you are a new customer.)
• Purchaser’s name and telephone number
• End user’s name and telephone number
• Shipping address
• Billing address
• Purchase order number, or credit card number (Please include expiration   date and three security digits on the back of the credit card.)
• Catalog number and product description
• Size and quantity of product desired

Payment Terms
Payment for orders placed with a purchase order are net 30 days from date of shipment. An invoice will be mailed out within 48 hours of shipment.

To set up a customer account so that orders can be placed with a Purchase Order please contact us during regular business hours: 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday (Pacific Standard Time).

Credit card orders (VISA, MasterCard and American Express) are also accepted.

Epitomics, Inc. attempts to ship all orders within 24 hrs following the order placement . All orders are shipped F.O.B. Burlingame, CA. Shipping and handling charges are prepaid and added to your invoice. Orders may be shipped via Federal Express or United Parcel Service upon the request at the time of order. Handling fees may include fee for dry or blue ice when applicable.

At the time of order we will provide shipping and delivery estimates based on the availability of the items and your chosen shipping option. Applicable shipping and handling fees will also be provided at the time of order.

Items requiring blue or dry ice are shipped Monday through Thursday.
Items shipped at room temperature are shipped Monday through Friday.

Whenever possible orders for multiple items are shipped at the same time. In cases where this is not possible you may choose a partial shipment for the items or wait for all products to become available before shipment. Partial shipments may be subject to additional delivery fees.

Order Cancellations
Orders for catalog products can be cancelled at no charge provided that the notice of cancellation is made before the order is shipped. Cancellations received after the order has shipped may be subject to a 20% return and re-stocking fee. For products that are temperature sensitive, order cancellations may not be available.

To return improper or incomplete products please call our customer service department within 72 hours after receipt of the order to obtain a return authorization. Items damaged during shipping should be brought to the attention of the carrier; our customer service department can assist you in filing a claim with the carrier. Items returned due to customer order error are subject to a 20% return fee. All items must be returned in original, unused, unopened, and in fully usable condition. Returns will only be accepted within 30 days from date of delivery. Custom, bulk, or special orders cannot be returned.

At our discretion, we may issue a product credit or refund for the product value and shipping charges. No product credit shall be available for use if a past due balance is outstanding on your account.

Terms and Conditions
Epitomics, Inc. products are intended for research use only and are not to be used for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. Epitomics products shall not be used in humans.

Epitomics Inc. products shall not be resold, modified for resale, or used to manufacture commercial products without the prior written consent from Epitomics, Inc. If you require licenses for any other use, please contact Epitomics, Inc. at info@epitomics.com.

No license under Epitomics, Inc.’s proprietary and intellectual property rights is either granted or implied by sale of any of Epitomics products.

Warranty and Liability
Epitomics, Inc. products are warranted to meet the applicable product specifications described. Notice of non-conforming products should be made to Epitomics, Inc. within 21 days of receipt of the product. Epitomics, Inc. disclaims any and all express and implied or statutory warranties, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement of any third party intellectual property rights except for the express warranties contained herein. Epitomics, Inc.’s liability to any user of Epitomics, Inc. products for damages of any kind, if it is at no fault of the user, will be limited to replacement of the product(s) only, and in no event shall the liability of Epitomics, Inc. exceed the actual amount paid for the product(s). Epitomics, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages. Epitomics, Inc. disclaims any and all responsibility for any injury or damage which may be caused by the fault of the user or the buyer in accordance with the terms and conditions herein.

If you do not agree with the terms and conditions herein, you shall promptly return any Epitomics products in the package in which they were received. Failure to promptly return the product in the original package and unused condition or any use of Epitomics products constitutes the acceptance of the terms and conditions herein.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations
We certify that to the best of our knowledge, our products are produced in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
