Epitomics Finalizes Settlement Agreement with Cell Signaling Technology

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - March 17, 2009

Epitomics, Inc. and Cell Signaling Technology, Inc. (CST) today announced that they have signed a settlement agreement to terminate the litigation filed on October 16, 2007, by Epitomics (captioned Epitomics, Inc. v. Cell Signaling Technology, Inc., Case No. C-07-5275, USDC, N.D. Cal.) relating to fusion technologies for rabbit monoclonal antibody development. All claims and counterclaims in the litigation were dismissed with prejudice without any admission of wrongdoing by either party. Epitomics will receive an undisclosed one time payment and continuous royalties on certain products sold by CST. CST will receive a license for certain of its products under certain Epitomics intellectual property.
